The Arenal district - Seville

Arenal in Seville is a located at the palm-lined eastern shore of the Guadalquivir River and this district with its diverse array of interesting things to try out and explore allures the tourists belonging to different corners of the world to visit this vibrant district which is the hub of numerous attractions. During the 16th and 17th centuries, Arenal accommodated one of the most significant ports of the world and remnants of Arenal's characteristic port ambiance of the bygone days gets best reflected through the Reales Atarazanas (Royal Shipyards).

The Maestranza bullring in the Arenal district is the most beautiful bullfighting venue in the world. Just behind the Teatro de la Maestranza one happens to come across the tiled façade of the Hospital de la Caridad which continues to serve as a hospice for the elderly and is a spectacular example of Seville's brilliant baroque period.
